Biography
Shraddha Kapoor, was born on 3 March 1992 in Mumbai with a filmy background. She did her schooling in Jamnabai Narsee School, Juhu and completed her high school in Boston. She took up theatre studies during her high school in Boston. She later learnt diction and acting under Mohit Tugnait at home. The Kapoor girl recently became the brand ambassador for the cosmetic giant Lakme. 

Career
Shraddha made her acting debut at the age of 21, in 2010 with the big stars like Amitabh Bachchan, R. Madhavan in the film 'Teen Patti'. in which her performance was praised by one and all. She was ranked third in times' poll for the Hottest New Face-Female of 2010. 

Cute and charming Shraddha was awarded "Stardust Searchlight" Award For the Best Actress in 2012 for her role in this film. Aashiqui 2, her latest release is a huge success and her work is immmensly appriciated in the film industry. She also featured on the cover page of the Elle Magazine in the January 2011 issue.
